On wall in bathroom of a finished basement. Hangs out and then moves really quickly. Eventually to floor and under a cabinet. Not sure what it is huntong. Non obvious bugs. About the size of a dime at its outer limit of legs.

Meant to say no obvious bugs to hunt. What is it and what does it like to eat?
This looks like an Eastern Parson Spider, Herpyllus ecclesiasticus. They are ground spiders that move quickly. The “Yes” answer for found in web is a pre-selected default answer that has to be unchecked if it isn’t correct. A lot of people miss that, I would like that to be changed when someone updates this site. These are ambush hunting spiders. What they eat is a good question, I couldn’t find an answer readily online other than, “crawling insects”. Many spiders eat other spiders including their direct kin. Mites are also possible snacks. Like TangledWeb said, that’s an Eastern Parson Spider. I find them on occasion indoors in Wisconsin, never near any obvious prey. They’re fast and lovely!
