Nephila clavata
Beautiful photo! You identified her correctly, the genus name for the species was changed a few years ago. She’s now Trichonephila clavata
To our new volunteers: about Joro Spiders – This species was in genus Nephila, now it is Trichonephila. It is a newly introduced species to USA, it came in on a shipment. I don’t know if it is officially classified as invasive or is still being watched. Thank you all!!
