Is this a fishing spider?
Found on the riverbank of the Lehigh river.

Yes, she might be Dolomedes scriptus. They tend to be found in places where humans go to fish from the shore. I watched some of Fishing Spiders fish, they sit on the rocks in shallow water with a couple of their feet in the water. They feel for the particular vibrations of surface and underwater prey, similar to an angler feeling for the right kind of strike on a lure or worm.
