not sure. I found it matched one photo on the internet that was called a chilean recluse. I think it bit me and I'd like to know what it was. The 2 I found on the patio were quite aggressive. I was doing some work on my mom's brick patio and after hours of work these 2 showed up. Then I found 100's of eggs that were down in a crack between the house and the brick

It looks to be a common brown recluse house spider. On the safe side though, if a redness forms around where you think the bite should be, you may want to look into getting it checked out, I wouldn’t worry too much in rare cases it could cause tissue damage but if it seems to have no redness, irritation, or pain, don’t worry about it too much. If you have found eggs, you should be very careful removing them especially if the spiders around the eggs are aggressive, the best way to do this is by diluting bleach with water… Read more »

It isn’t a recluse, they have a different shape and markings. I’m not sure what it is from memory, just wanted to quickly tell you it isn’t dangerous. You should still keep a watch on any lesion because there is always a risk of bacterial infection with a puncture wound. As Sp0ders said, mother spiders can be aggressive in defending their eggs. In cases where you need to work near eggs you can gently scoop mom into a container then release her when you are done.
