So there seems to be some weird rotation of spiders lurking about in the dark hours around my house. My recent post of a new to me spider who had started showing up after dark has revealed that they are likely a type of wolf spider. Woof spiders are what I am accustomed to seeing rather than those shown about a week or so ago. Now these guys are all about where those other lighter colored relatives were for a while. These are just a few that were there tonight but more have been out over the past few days.

You’re right about it being a Wolf Spider. More specifically in the Gladicosa genus. Gladicosa pulchra seems like the best fit even though Gladicosa gulosa is more common where you live.
Thanks for pinning it down for me. There are so many of these wolf spiders!
