This spider was found in a bathroom just outside the shower. The tile it’s on is about 5” tall.
At first glance I thought it could be a brown recluse but I don’t see the violin shape. Then I thought long legged sac spider but it seems too big for that. Any ideas?

You had the answer, Long-legged Yellow Sac Spider. There are two species called that and I think one is bigger than the other. They are both in genus Cheiracanthum. They like bathrooms. That’s why “sink or bathtub” are given as locations in our submission form. There are certain spider species that I think can sense the water sources. A really cool kind of spider that can be found in bathrooms in the Northeast are Spitting Spiders. I was happy to find one this year. The humidity is probably enough to keep them alive.
