No concerns that this guy is dangerous. It has been happy hanging out in corner of the window outside feasting on midges, moths, flies or anything unluck to land. Stays in the corner all day and comes out on to the Web at sundown.
I’m guessing based on some Googling it’s probably part of the orb web family?

Araneus diadematus, Cross Orbweaver, female. I’m glad you’re getting along well with your big Orbweaver. The web that she made to fit into a corner, instead of a flat plane, is interesting. She’s in the resting posture, which usually is used in a hidden place outside the web. Instead, she adapted to stay in her web while she rests. She’s lovely, thank you for sharing her.
