Anyone know what this is? On ceiling by my Mom’s porch light. Pretty big for a spider too.

Argiope aurantia, a Black and Yellow Garden Spider. Nocturnal insects, like moths, fly toward lights at night. Spiders take advantage of prey drawn to a lure. One of the easiest places to find spiders is near a porch light. 🙂 She’s an Orbweaver, she makes the kind of web seen on Halloween decorations and the spiderweb emoji.
Thanks! The shiny metallic coloring made me wonder.
