Bathroom wall. Western Germany. Doesn’t quite look like a common house spider.

It’s probably a Fishing or Nursery Web Spider in family Pisauridae. They can easily cling to vertical surfaces. They are drawn to water sources to hunt, so in buildings they try to be near water fixtures. It isn’t dangerous to people. They may bite if they are pressed against skin. It should be moved to the outdoors. An area with a brook or other water body would be best. They hunt on land, in trees, and next-to water. Very similar to a Pisauridae, but the butterfly mark on the prosoma and the coloration of the legs argue for Zoropsis spinimana.You’re very unlikely to encounter this species outdoors in Germany.

So you’ve got a Nosferatu-spinne in your house…that doesn’t sound reassuring, but don’t worry,it’s harmless to humans 😉
