Looks like an orb weaver. Found it paralyzed when I destroyed a wasp's mud ball under my patio furniture. I think it's green from the wasp venom.

i agree with the ID. Bricks, you may have an unpleasant surprise. Some wasps abduct spiders and hold them captive. They do this because the wasps oviposit eggs into the spiders and force them to serve as living incubators and food sources for the wasp larvae. This will ultimately kill the spider when the wasp larvae rupture out. It’s horrible, but nature finds balance. Orbweavers kill wasps. I had one in my yard that ate the parasitic wasps that went after her. Lots of them, she ate well.
Oh dear. I kept caterpillars that this happened to when I was little. Poor little spider.
