Dolomedes scriptus found crawling out from under my water softener, startled me and .....well...you can see my reaction was that of a scared child. I now feel very guilty and I don't know why because these spiders can bite and leave venom, which is a problem if your allergic to it specifically. Of course having never been bitten, who knows if we are or not.

Ok so I put the name of this spider in the wrong spot as I am new to this site……it is commonly known as a fishing spider
