She’s a Banded Garden Spider, Argiope trifasciata. Wasp Spiders are a closely related species. She’ll do an interesting thing if she feels threatened by your presence. She’ll shake her web very violently like an actor overacting their desire to escape a jail cell by trying to shake the bars on the cell. It’s effective for the spider. I’ve only seen one. I was with a man who liked following me around to hear me lecture about what I found. When the spider started shaking the web he ran away immediately. It was great!
