Hi. your little friend is a funnel weaver, a female Eratigena Agrestis species. North America, we call them hobo spiders. Contrary to anything you have heard about these spiders, they are not dangerous at all, and should not be implicated with having a bad bite in any way. Once called aggressive house spiders,my experience with them his is wrong on both counts, never saw one with an aggressive hair on their body, and these really much prefer their rock piles to indoor living. That was my guess, it was very docile and I relocated it outside. Didn’t find any signs of it’s web, wasn’t sure what the best protocol was for relocation of these spiders.
Anyone know what kind of spider this is?
