Comments & ID Thoughts
I'm pretty sure this is a weaver spider, found in the over grown vines hanging in its web at night and sitting under the high up vine leaves during the day. However I do not know the accurate name and would like to know if they bite. Would Appreciate any thoughts. Thankyou,Lez

Hello. Does anyone have any information on this spider,or can anyone definitively say it’s a weaver spider. Do they bite? And should I leave it alone where I found it. Thanks. Lez
Hi. Looks like a female Neoscona crucifera orb weaver. I welcome them. Capable of biting,I have yet to get one to bite. not dangerous, a bite may sting a little, I don’t worry about it. If you are allergic to bees and such, best not play with them, Just leave them undisturbed.
