They have venom, but it isn’t anything to go out of your way to protect yourself from. They use it on prey (humans are way too much meat) and in self defense if you push skin against it in a threatening way. The worst case scenario is a bacterial infection from the skin puncture or an unexpected allergic reaction. You have much riskier types of critters in Florida 🙁
