This spider is hanging out beside the washer. I can't identify it based on the charts online - can anyone help? It is really freaking me out to the point I don't want to go to the basement.

Hi, it is possibly a fishing spider looking for insects to eat. They aren’t aggressive toward humans. You, or someone who will do you a favor, can put a clear bowl or plastic container over it. Then slide a piece of paperboard, like a side of a cereal box under the bowl. Once you have the spider trapped, please give it an escort to the outdoors wilderness.
