Not a great pic, I know. I should have checked the picture quality before sending him to spider-heaven. This guy was dangling from the ceiling on a 5 ft silk string in a well-lit room in the early evening. Girlfriend is sure it's a recluse...I'm not so sure. But after looking up Southern House spiders it doesn't look like that either (due to the mandible placement). The coloration scheme is very recluse-like - solid uniform abdomen. I can't see the fiddle though.
