I have no idea. It was 3/4 inch big with legs, sitting under a crate with the markings.

Hi, Your spider looks to be Steatoda triagulosa,one of the cobweb spiders. Never saw one this fat,even gravid. might be suffering a parasite.

The prosoma is obscured, but the legs are wrong for a tick.
I have to side with ItsyBitsy. I have seen them this fat and the result of a parasite worm.
