Hello, may I please request the zip code so that I can help with identification, thank you!
95677 is the zipcode he was found in.
Please do not give any more location info. We do not use zipcodes or GPS info as part of the identification process.
Please do not ask our site users for address or GPS info. I made that clear before to you that we don’t want anyone looking for sites to poach wildlife.
This is a solifugae, not a true spider. Another user helped me identify mine.

Yes, I called it a camel spider in my initial post. Mostly wondering why he’s up here in Northern California.
Oh, sorry – caught that now. Did you move from more south? maybe he hitched a ride in your stuff?
Never lived south in my life. Haven’t traveled there in about 20 years. Nothing out of the ordinary happened in my routine that he might be in my bathroom so randomly.
Here is a range map for the order Solifugae. http://www.solpugid.com/Global%20Distribution.htm
Thank you for this map. I also am in the same zip code. Found 3 variations in size, no more than 2 1/2” in total length in my home as well. My brother was in Afghanistan for 4 years. He was racked with guilt that he brought it home. I appreciate you.
I just found a camel spider in my house 2 nights ago, I live in Colfax Ca. 30 minutes from rocklin this is very odd that it was here being that i am in the mountains.
