Comments & ID Thoughts
Recently traveled by road to Destin Florida for 11 days and then back home (boo!). So, it could be a fellow traveler!
Thanks,
Kevin

As one not so famous actor said to Ms. Lara Croft, “my ignorance amuses me!”

Nice mixed-media presentation. I’ll get back to you when I’m less ignorant. Hope that will be soon.
Thnx so much!!!
Did you ever procure any additional info on my unknown guest? I would really like to know more about it.
Thanks so much.
It might be Castianeira longipalps. I was slow because I didn’t know. Once I see one in-person it will be easier for me to rotate the spider in my mind, so the angle of the photo won’t matter as much. Seeing the 3D version personally makes a big difference. Spiders all look the same size in photos, now I know some are much smaller and more giant than I expected.
Other volunteers, including our site moderator may still disagree with my guess. It will be reviewed before it the ID is finalized.
