What kind of spider is this?

She’s a Regal Jumping Spider, Phidippus regius. The males are darker colored. I’m surprised that we don’t already have a confirmed sighting from your state.
Is she venomous? Does she jump? Good bug or bad?
Jump – yes Good- yes Venomous- yes, BUT it is a venom for killing insects (and other spiders) that isn’t anything for humans to worry about. I’ve been bitten a few times by jumping spiders that got trapped under my clothes. The bites were like being poked with a pencil point, then itchy later. It happens in places with grass about 4″ near woods.
