Hi, the markings are very similar. This looks like Steatoda triangulosa, a cobweb spider. The legs are held differently. This one has arched legs in the way that “evildoers” and monsters are usually depicted in fiction. Steatoda species spiders are in the same family as Black Widows and are very similar except for the venom’s effects on mammals. This isn’t one to worry about. They are relatively common spiders that live both indoors and outdoors. They don’t want us to interact with them, we have the upper-hand, literally and figuratively.
