Comments & ID Thoughts
So, at first I thought this and it's other 3 siblings were cute Bold Jumping Spider but I look closer and they look like a baby Black House Spiders when I was letting it crawl on my hand. But I'm not sure if there common to Iowa, at least that I could find according to the internet.
But if it is, it is rated a level 2 spider! Meaning if it bites you it will hurt and it will make you dizzy and nauseous, much like a Wolf Spider. I've been bitten by a full grown Wolf twice, so I know what I'm in for. Lol
But if it's something different or something much worse, please let me know!

This is an eastern parson spider. While the parson spider is not considered venomous, bite symptoms are variable in severity. Some people may experience localized allergic swelling and itching in addition to initial pain. A few people may experience excessive swelling, nervousness, nausea, sweating and elevated temperatures from the bites.
But all spiders have venom, most of them only to paralyze their prey.
Awesome thank you for letting me know! I’m not worried about getting bitten, but it’s still good to know1
