Dark brown spider, 2 white stripes (1 down each side), 10 white spots (2 rows of 5). Lighter yellowy-brown underside.
Bite itches, then swells up to a raised hard quarter-sized red mark after 12 hours.

Hi, it looks like Dolomedes triton, a Spotted Fishing Spider. That’s a normal spider bite reaction though a bit bigger than usual, probably because it is a bigger spider. Did you accidentally have your skin pressed against it somehow? We tell people that they won’t bite except if pained by pressure or defending their offspring. I like to ask people what actually happened.
Thanks @TangledWeb! It seems like either that or Lycosidae schizocosa. Unlike either of those though, the spider seems to very clearly have monochromatic legs- all one yellow/brown color, similar to the underbody. The underbody appears to have 2 black parantheses-like marks under the legs on each side but otherwise is that same color. The bite was discovered in the evening under the person’s jeans. The person also may have had another bite several days before. The spider was discovered the next morning, running across the person’s bedsheets.
Please.. Can you help me with a spider I found in my house.
