Picture of unidentified spider

Comments & ID Thoughts

The spider is very tiny. Found he/she Im my room, they made a small web in my window blinds. Hung from a sting down and has been peacefully living on the side of my mattress. Curious as to what type of spider it is, wether it’s male or female, and how old (as its seems to be a spider long to me). I wanna say it’s a jumping spider due to it it’s build and coloration, some pictures online give me the idea it’s a pantropical jumper. Thanks for any help and sorry for the paragraph, I’m just really interested in my new roommate

Im pretty sure this is a Twin Flagged jumper

TangledWeb

Definitely a Jumper, I can’t tell which one. A couple fun things to do in quarantine with a jumping Spider: Try a laser pointer, it might chase the dot like a cat would. Put it on a computer or phone screen and try to get it to chase a cursor. There are probably many more ideas online with videos of how to play with a Jumping Spider. I haven’t resorted to that yet…..
