Comments & ID Thoughts
So i found this guy/girl while i was attending my garden. It was hiding within a crack on a stone wall, under some plants. It looks black widowish but doesn't bare the same markings our local black widow species has. Then it's the size as it was quite big in relation to the black widow species we have here. She was beautiful and really calm though. Any ideas folks?

She’s a False Widow in genus Steatoda of family Theridiidae. That’s the same family as the Widow spiders, but a different genus. There are about 220 species in the genus Steatoda and they are spread out across the World. They have venom that is potent against insects and other spiders. They rarely bite people and the venom is insignificant to us. This is my favorite spider genus for practical purposes. They don’t see well, mainly just light and dark. They usually don’t move when bright light is upon them. Their markings can be pretty gold, like yours, or silver.
Thanks! Actually it was day time when i found her. She was very docile, i handled her (with heavy working gloves) in order to transfer her to safety.
I’m thinking Steatoda paykulliana.
