Can someone tell me what type of spider this is. It was in my couch and almost crawled on me

Nice presentation, but the resolution is too low for a species level ID. That can be caused by using “digital zoom” instead of a telescopic lens. The spider looks like a False Widow in genus Steatoda. They don’t have venom that is medically significant to humans. They aren’t aggressive, they want to hide in dark places to avoid us and other predators. They use webs and sense of touch to catch insects and other spiders.
