Sure is and it is one we rarely see. This is Steatoda grandis (click on Wyoming and scroll down). Nightmareofsin, ? Well, not the spider….. She’s only sinful in that she will kill and eat her own kind. I guess that counts. She’s not dangerous to humans.

Their site most stayed with genus level of taxonomy for the Steatoda spp. of Wyoming. A dissection microscope and the specimen is required for scientific confirmation. My son and I have come to the conclusion it’s a Rabbit Hutch Spider. Same genus as Steatoda.
