Hi, this is a an insect nymph that is often mistaken for a spider. I think it is an Assassin Bug or Wheel Bug.
yes you are correct this is a juvenile assassin bug
Interesting in knowing also, had like 10 on my deck just know.
Please Google the two suggestions I gave, I don’t know more than this about it. Bugguide.net is a great insect resource for images, range and other info. You need to register with the site, like this one to access some of the data. Remember it is probably an immature version of the insect, a nymph. They’re plentiful because it’s Spring.
