Was down the side of the seat cushion on the outdoor patio. Have been told it is a brazilian wandering spider, another type of wandering spider - both dangerous - - or a fishing spider (dolomedes) not harmful

Hi, this looks like something between … same family as Phoneutria, different genus – Cupiennius … doesn’t have the same reputation of medical significance, but I’d treat them with caution just to be on the safe side. Everyone’s immune system is different. I see a bunch of possibilities in the genus listed for Costa Rica, I’m not sure which exact one this is.
