Hi, and welcome to the site. Your spider looks o be a gold silk orb weaver in the Araneidae family,one of the Nephila species. A guess here would be a male Nephila clavipes species:

Very small next to a female.
There is only one other established Nephila in Georgia, the joro spider, Nephila clavata species.
