I’m guessing this is a Wolf Spider.
Checking game cameras along Black Creek in southern Mississippi and I didn’t see this spider until it crossed the strap of the camera.

Hi this is a Dark fishing spider, Dolomedes tenebrosus
That makes sense. The creek went up 10′ over night and it was on a tree next to creek.
