Several of these have been found in our house. Is it a Chilean or Desert Recluse? Or neither...?

Does not look like either of those. My vote is Titiotus californicus or some wandering spider.

Definitely not a wolf spider. It’s in the recluse look alike family just not an actual recluse . The recluse has a violin marking on the head just above the eyes. This does look like the brown spider in California as the lady said above. The brown recluse and the Titiosis californicus (the brown spider) are very similar. Fortunately this one is not poisonous.
