This was a large black spider crawling in my garage. I am wondering what it is and if it’s poisonous
Hi, welcome to Spider ID. 🙂 This is looks like a Burrowing Wolf Spider (Lycosidae), Geolycosa rafaelana. Like most spiders they have venom but are unlikely to bite except in self defense and are not considered to be of medical significance, everyone’s immune system is different though. Nice find. 🙂
