Looks like a brown recluse

BugmanDan

Hi, your spider looks to be some form of crab spider, running crab spider or possibly giant crab spider.
It would help seeing the legs also, they look latrograde here.
Can’t make out the eye pattern which would help.
Hunch I have is Philodromidae, can’t rule out Olios genus Sparassidae.
Welcome to he site.

Eye pattern is visible.

BugmanDan

My problem with my monitor is I don’t see the eyes at all in this, so you see what I am working with.

Hi, welcome to Spider ID. 🙂 This looks like a Mediterranean Recluse, Loxosceles rufescens. (Species ID based on location.)

Nigel

Could someone have a look at my photos – almost positive it is Loxoceles rufescens
