Agelenopsis aperta

ammcarbaugh

Looks like my favorite spider to have the yard and bushes, Agelenopsis. I call them grass funnel web spiders. As they build webs with a funnel in the middle where they stay and await dinner. When you spoke them, they dash from the center funnel into the heart of the bush or down into the dense grass.
