Comments & ID Thoughts

The pictures are blurry, but its about 4mm in length. Pictures taken in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The spider has a green "head" with orange/brown fillings and brilliant blue accents. in direct light some parts of the spider seem to glisten. A very active spider as it raises it forelegs.

Hi, welcome to Spider ID. 🙂 This looks like a Jumping Spider (Salticidae) in the genus Siler. Like most spiders they have venom but are not considered to be of medical significance, everyone’s immune system is different though.
