Waltzed into my garage from outside like it owned the place. Resembles pics of a Sydney funnel weaver but I'm in North America.

Antrodiaetus pacificus! AKA the folding trapdoor spider. They rang from Canada, Washington, Oregon, and all the way up to California! The California varieties are much bigger than their more colder temperate relatives native to Oregon, Washington, and Canada. You won’t be able to see them in your backyard as the females often camouflage their burrow entrance with a two door lid.
