Hi, your spider is a wolf spider, family Lycosidae. Beyond that, I am uncertain, might be burrowing wolf spidr, Geolycosa genus.

Welcome to the site.
Thank you! I’ve had so many spiders like this in my new home, I’m definitely concerned at the sheer volume of how many I’m finding lol.
Hi, Exclusionary methods are best keeping spiders out of homes. Sealing cracks and holes, screens on windows and vents, weather stripping, that a routine cleaning with a vacuum will keep bugs and spiders to tolerable numbers.
New home you might expect numbers until you settle in.
Hi, welcome to Spider ID. 🙂 This is a male Gladicosa gulosa (Wolf Spider).
