Hello. I have found this spider in my appartment in Tokyo. It was in a corner of the ceiling in 1 of the room. The body was not big...I would say less than 1cm.
Can anyone let me know what spider is it?

I am almost certain that’s a juvenile female latrodectus (widow spider)
I would guess latrodectus elegans, based on the markings

It’s a type of black widow, so it’s hazardous. The risk of seeing more of them usually peaks around October when the weather starts to get colder.
I may be wrong about L. elegans, as those are only found in Okinawa and are rare to find.
It looks young, and without a web, it may have just been looking for a place to make one
