This spider which was 2mm in size was found on the underside of a milkweed flower in the grass. I gently leaned the flower to one side and was able to get this shot. The photo has been flipped vertically to make viewing easier. I think this is a crab spider. I would love to confirm this and know what kind.

Hi, yes … this is a Crab Spider (Thomisidae). Looks like one in the genus Mecaphesa.
