It’s beautiful
Definitely! It’s a Whitebanded Crab Spider, Misumenoides formosipes. The “white band” in the name is under the spider’s eyes. This photo shows it very well. This species is very interesting to me because the spider can change color to match the color wavelenths and patterns that trigger receptors in the eyes. They even do well with matching up to man-made fabric patterns. The flower in the photo is a really easy one for the spider to match. It is a goldenrod crab spider. White bandeds have different markings
It looks like a golden rod crab spider. I have only ever found 2 but they’re one of my favorite spiders. They can change color from white to a yellow/ green color.
