Comments & ID Thoughts

This spider was found in early-morning hours (2am) in a bathtub in NE Oklahoma. It was non-aggressive. I've not seen one like this around before.

Picture was taken with flash on. It appears very glossy black to the naked eye, and the browns show up more only under intense light.

Hi.your spider looks a bit like a tube web spider, Segestria genus, possibly Segestria florentina species. A brittish spider, might be Segestria pacifica.
