No good. It was crawling right across my kitchen floor. Any reason to be concerned? Our floors are clean with no clutter. Should I be concerned about more?
Where there is one, there are usually more. I recommend putting out glue board traps. They are safer and more effective than poison. Certain scents also repel spiders, including eucalyptus, peppermint, and citrus. Why they hate these fragrances I don’t know. Brown Recluse in particular hate bright light and loud noises (although they can grow used to them over time). Having clean floors is a good start; recluse love hiding in junk and they tend to stay low to the ground (although they can climb quite well). Finally, always check your shoes and clothes before putting them on.
That’s a Recluse alright.
