Was it a misumena vatia (goldenrod crab spider)?
I concur, Misumena vatia.
nice photo! Photos like this show why it is in people’s best interest to just let spiders be, I saw a wasp in a black widows web and I would rather live with a black widow in my house than a wasp
I’m a bit conflicted about Crab Spiders as they tend to prey on pollinators and bees are already having auch a difficult time.
However, Darwin knew what he was talking about, huh?
