Comments & ID Thoughts

I'm guessing Misumenoides formosipes based on the prominent block of white beneath the eyes. It is on an iris flower. Also check out the orange/red right fang visible, the claws on the feet, and the two rows of bristly hairs on the front two pairs of legs. Are these used to help the spider grip its prey?

We had one of those in our flowers last year. Amazing, change color to whatever flower they may be in. I will try find the photo, but ours was in a yellow flower and eating a bumble bee by the head. What an ambush!
