I believe this may be a common Candy Striped Spider after doing some searching through the many pictures on this site. It has moved into the space between my windows after my grass spider has abandoned the place.
I will attach a photo of the bottom of it in the comments. It was very obliging during its photo shoot.

Good work on identification. I’m inclined to agree with you: Enoplognatha ovata, the Candy-striped Spider.
