I have no idea what kind of spider it might be. The picture doesn't show it but its back is kind of blueish. They come out at sunset. The make their webs between outdoor hanging lights.

Wow! What a lovely, romantic shot! This reminds me of those pictures of pairs of swans, where their graceful, arched necks overlap to make a heart shape.
You have beautifully captured a courting pair of orb-weavers. The female is the big one, on the left; the male is on the right. I’m guessing Genus Araneus, but I’m not 100% certain. A well-lit picture of the female’s dorsal markings would be most helpful for identification.
