Comments & ID Thoughts

Found this spider crawling on my 7 week old daughters blanket while she was napping. Don't think it bit her but would like to know if it's dangerous to humans. It's very small. About the size of a grain of rice. We are in the Palm Springs area of southern California. It has a red thorax and legs the butt is black with white markings

Hi, this looks like a male Cobweb Spider (Theridiidae), tentatively Asagena fulva.
