Have you considered Parasteatoda tepidariorum for this one? I wouldn’t expect Steatoda triangulosa to have such light, transparent legs. Of course, I can’t see dorsal markings from here. I do think I see a bit of a zigzag marking on the spider’s right side, and that would make it Steatoda triangulosa, if those white spaces are not just reflections.
Yeah, this was really just my best guess. I have seen quite a few triangular cobweb spiders here, but this one was so small and I too was having trouble deciphering what were markings and what were reflections. AND I don’t know this genus very well.
It’s tricky with the super-small guys. Especially since juveniles of all species tend to be a bit transparent. I don’t even attempt to ID spiderlings beyond family.
I have a Tetragnatha sp. that I’m still sorting through pictures of, trying to decide on the best ones to post. I wish I had some really good photos, but it’s so hard to hold still enough to get a clear shot. Especially when they aren’t holding still.
